hiya everyone! i used to come to this school but i am in 4th year now. Hi to all my old classmates!!

By accident I found this website and wondered if I still know any teachers. 15 years ago I went to this school, in 1991 we moved to Holland, so probably all the teachers I know are allready retired. (for instance Mrs. Adamson & Mrs. Anderson). I really loved this school and was very sad Scotland didn't beat Holland last wednesday.

I used to go to Liberton Nursery when I was younger.

I would just like to give a shout out to my old Nursery teacher - Mrs Alexander!!

It is almost 20 years since I left Liberton Primary School with very fond memories. Looking at your website certainly made me very grateful for the experiences as I am now a Deputy Head. Maybe one day if I am in Edinburgh I may drive past and think of the past. Best wishes to the whole school.

My four children went to liberton school I am so glad my grandaughter halle goes to the liberton nursery she will go to school next year its one of the best school going

Like Alex Bradley (Les) I also attended the old Liberton Primary 1959 -1962 and yes it was Mrs Mitchell that was the head mistress (she was a dab hand with the ruler over the knuckles) my teacher their was Miss Murray, then I was moved to Gracemount Primary.

Very changed days. I started at The Inch Primary School in 1956 at the then Inch House and moved up the hill to what is now Liberton Primary School. The buildings look the same but everything seems to have moved on into the 21st century. Mr. Wilson was Headmaster in those days of belts and lines but I wouldn't have missed my time at school there for anything. It was and appears still is a great school.

Mr. mcgee is the best teacher in the world

Great web site. Unheard of in my days at Liberton Primary. I attended the school in 1955-1961 when it was situated in Mount Vernon Road and if my memory serves me correctly Miss Mitchell was headmistress. Great school then and seems to be continuing in that vein today. Well done and best wishes!
